Our Story

Our Commitment to Freshness and Community At Coach House, we pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen where every dish is crafted with care from the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Our experienced team, led by the talented Executive Chef Phil Wong, formerly of High St. Café, is passionate about food and dedicated to serving our community with heart. Chef brings his love for his hometown into the kitchen, infusing every dish with a touch of nostalgia and a whole lot of delicious.

 

A Taste of Tradition and Innovation Our menu is a delightful fusion of time-tested favorites and exciting new creations. We believe in keeping the classics alive while dazzling you with new dishes to offer you an unforgettable dining experience.

And speaking of classics, we are thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Chicken Berry Salad, a High St. Cafe signature dish that has captured the hearts and palates of Hamilton residents for years. An instant classic with a bed of field greens bursting with flavors of a fresh berry medley, bleu cheese, candied pecans, craisins, red onion, and bacon with house-made honey poppyseed vinaigrette and choice of grilled or Phil’s famous blackened chicken. Whether you enjoy this salad for lunch or dinner, your taste buds will fall in love with it instantly.

Community First Welcomes Chef Phil Wong

Phil Wong & his team from High St. Cafe have joined Community First Solutions to lead the culinary operations of the Coach House.  Phil’s extensive experience managing restaurant and catering operations, combined with his community commitment and passion for serving Hamilton residents make he and his team uniquely suited to lead the reopening of the Coach House.
